The DefendAir® HEPA 500 is a portable air scrubber that draws air from the surrounding environment and passes it through an advanced filtration system. The unit removes airborne particles like dust, mold spores, pollen, pet dander and miscellaneous debris. Each unit can treat up to 1000 cubic feet of enclosed space. When used with the optional carbon filter, the unit can also remove odors from paint, varnish, dead animals and more.
Daisy-chain up to three units at once for advanced air scrubbing capacity.
Make sure standard filters are installed in this order (from inside unit
to outside):
1) HEPA filter (F321 or F513) in
inside compartment
2) Stage Two Pre-Filter (F271) in
outer lip area
3) Stage One Pre-Filter (F270)
closest to front door
